Can Snow really be a Hurricane?

They're calling it a "snow hurricane". Apparently that's the weather system that is currently hitting Western NY. It's just suppose to swirl for the next few days. They're predicting 1 - 2 inches an hour later tonight. Should be interesting waking up in the morning. Too bad work won't be canceled. Is it wrong to hope for a state of emergency so it would illegal for me to go into work?

    That's one thing I hate about living in a city where it snows all the time - you can NEVER take a snow day :( It's just not fair! I think I want to move to a city where I can actually take snow days ;)
